One of my youngest piano students, age 4, said "I want to be a rock and roll star". He took piano lessons from me through his High School days. To see what became of him you can read about him on myspace, this link. His name, Jon Carin

Dear Mr. Levy,

You probably don't remember me. My name is David Pere and you gave me and other members of my family (sisters Kerri and Joy) piano lessons at our home in Merrick, NY in the 70's. I was just surfing the web and came upon your site. Your work is very impressive. You were ahead of your time then and it seems you still are.

In case you do remember me, I'd like you to know how grateful I am for all you taught me. I have never stopped playing. I couldn't imagine my life without the piano in it. I am married in Florida with 4 sons. Amazingly, none of them are interested in the piano. The oldest (Brett-13) plays guitar in his band Crimson. Number 2 son (Adam - 12) plays drums and jams with me all the time and is in the process of startgin his own band. Number 3 son (Brady - 8) is also a guitar player. Our youngest (Kevin -4) wants to play the bass. So at least my house is constantly filled with music.

Thanks to you, I am able to play just about anything put in front of me, but my most joy comes from composing. I have finally gotten the nerve and will put some songs on a CD this summer.

Thanks again Mr. Levy, your influence on my life has been tremendous and I am so pleased to report that the love of music you instilled in me has certainly has been handed down to my children.
