Hi Al,
Awhile back I bought the above arrangement from you. First let me
say it is superb, I can't tell it from Glenn Miller band. I forgot to
record the one gig, but finally I did in January 2012 at the next gig.
Others recorded it too but I haven't got my hands on the others' yet.
This came out pretty good for a Yamaha digital stereo recorder in the
balcony but it was beside the board, so I figured it should be pretty
good, and it was.
The band is Basil's Big Band in Elkins, WV, which started out 10
yrs. ago as a gospel big band playing Camp Kirkland charts. At this gig
we were doing a fund raiser for the local Baptist Church music
department and Missions. I hope you find it a creditable job to your arrangement.
